Background:
Birth of Dr. S. R. Zondi
His birth was at KwaSwayimani Area in the valley called Kwa,hlwemini under the Traditional leader Inkosi Gcumisa by the Year 1967 in the month of May the 12th day.
Zondis growth and mentorship was gained under the grandmother Mrs Gabsile Autrinah Zondi, who was the father and mother to him, although he had the biological father and mother but it must be known that in our zulu calture, the child born out of wedlock always belong to the mothers family.
Early Leadership Skills:
As a boy he had to become a herd boy and a stick fighter and join the group of boys in the area where the cultural training takes place.
Primary Education:
At the age of seven, Dr. S.R. Zondi had to be registered at the nearest school for his early education. The nearest school was 30Km away from his place of birth and that is Engoleleni Primary School which is at another valley called Ekupholeni area. In the year 1978 Dr Zondi moved from Engoleleni primary school as the local primary school in his area was built, that is Hlwemini Primary School. After completion of his Primary phase in education has to move from his local area for furthering his education.
Secondary Education:
Hlwemini Area was a primitive rural area during the time of Dr. S.R. Zondi. If there was a need for best education, the child of the soil had to move and look for green pastures at the semi urban areas. Dr. S.R. Zondi was forced by the situation to move to Inanda Area and further his education at Intshisekelo High School. He started Grade 8 (Std 6 or Form 1) in 1983. Dr. S.R. Zondi was an active student even in extra mural activities which is Soccer, Choral Music.
Religious background:
As child grew under the leadership of his Grandmother Mrs Gabsile Autrinah Zondi, he had to follow the old lady to the church at George Now Evangelical Lutheran Church. He attended the children’s baptismal which is followed by a class. If it was like today Zondi could be an “isikhonzi” if they were designated that time, unfortunately there was no such department in that time.
Dr. Zondi had to go through “umqiniso” after being recognized as a committed youth member in the George Now Evangelical Lutheran Church Region. Dr. S.R. Zondi was much committed in his local church as much as her grandmother was acting like local preacher because the grandmother is a founder of Kwahlwemini Evangelical Lutheran church Parish. Dr. Zondi was part of 7 days church building project which was led by German missionaries of the erection of the church in Kwahlwemini in 1983. Dr. S.R. Zondi was like a right hand man of his grandmother, as the grandmother was illiterate so Dr. Zondi was forced to be always next to his grandmother for bible reading. Therefore to separate Dr. Zondi from his mother was impossible. Lutheran church is a chief or principal home of Dr. S.R. Zondi.
Dr. Zondi left the Evangelical Lutheran Church:
We must all know that we are living in time of industrious revolution, Dr. Zondi has to move on to be a police as employed in Law enforcement under South African Police. During this time Dr. Zondi met a lady who was a non-

These qualifications reveal the heart and ambitions of the man of God, Dr. S.R. Zondi. Dr Zondi is now back with Evangelical Lutheran Church to continue with his calling not to sit down and applaud to those who are on the run.
PURPOSE OF HIS BIRTH
Because of his commitment to the public, Dr. S.R. Zondi is recently appointed to be a G72 member serving in an Executive position within the Department of transport National.
Dr. S.R. Zondi’s current employment:
This man of God is currently serving the Government of South Africa and the Community at large under the Department of Judiciary and Constitutional Development. In fact in this department Dr. Zondi is heading the office in the magisterial court in Pietermaritzburg, Camperdown .
